Once again I have lots of movie reviews for y'all! 4 out of the 5 were watched within 24 hours...ha ha...I promise I do have a life outside of movies and TV.
1. Happy Feet 2
This one wasn't as cute as the first one, but I still liked it! I mean it's about penguins, how am I not going to like it?!?! There are some new characters this time including a puffin and krill. Also, I didn't realize this until I looked up the movie poster, but P!NK replaced Brittany Murphey as the penguin Gloria. Since it had been so long since I had seen the first Happy Feet I didn't even notice while watching.
2. Eat Pray Love
So this movie was just about as boring as the book I never finished...ha ha. And it was a ridiculously long movie. However, since I never read the Bali part I paid more attention because it was all new material. Honestly, I could have gone my whole life without watching the movie, but since I had read part of the book I wanted to see if the movie would be better. Guess I found out my answer.
3. Dolphin Tale
This was a good, heart warming story. So heart warming in fact that I went to
seewinter.com. Not much else to say other than I think you should rent it, netflix it or record it when it comes back on TV (I think I recorded it off HBO).
4. Lawless
This was good and violent and bloody. Yet, when I was telling my mom about it she asked if it was a comedy...ha! Far from it. But some parts do make you laugh. It's about three brothers and their moonshining business during prohibition. It's probably one of the best movies I've seen in the theater recently.
5. The Possession
I was so ready to be scared/freaked out, but I wasn't. This was nowhere near as good as the original Exorcist. This movie claims to be a true story of what happened to a family over 29 days. It all starts from a box that the little girl finds at a yard sale. I actually like the little girl as an actor. She was in a show, The Firm, that I became addicted to last season until it got canceled.
