Shepard's Pie

Good ol' comfort food. This is probably the simplest Shepard's Pie I've ever had, but it was still quite tastey.

What you need:

  • Ground beef
  • Mashed Potatoes (instant or from scratch)
  • 1 can of corn
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Tony Chachere
  • 9 x 13 casserole dish
Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. Brown beef
  3. Drain grease
  4. Add Worcestershire and Tony Chachere to your liking
  5. Add corn and let cook together
  6. Make your mashed potatoes
  7. Put beef and corn mixture in your casserole dish
  8. Spead mashed potatoes on top (doesn't have to be smooth the peaks will brown up better)
  9. Bake for 30 minutes or until the potatoes are golden
Note: Most Shepard's pies are made with more vegetables such as peas, carrots and onions. If you enjoy your veggies and have them on hand, don't be afraid to add them!
