November Meal 2: Italian Parmesan Garlic Chicken
With my new suggested eating habits, I've been trying to think of different ways to make chicken. My favorite will always be sweet chipotle chicken, but I can't eat that everyday boo. A few Fridays ago I decided to make a recipe similar to one I found on pinterest.
The pinterest recipe called for an Italian seasoning packet, but I didn't have one on hand so I went into my spice cabinet and found a good ol' Penzeys spice jar, Bouquet Garni.
1/2 c Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 T Bouquet Garni (or any Italian-ish seasoning)
I mixed all 3 ingredients together and then coated my chicken (wet with only water) in the mixture. I then baked it at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes. I served my chicken with a side of roasted garlic quinoa (I love garlic if you couldn't tell).
I really liked how this chicken turned out...especially that crispy little end you see up there in the picture. Yummy!
