Dream Catcher Necklace
I saw this necklace on Lovely Little Things Blog and fell in love with it! I had to have one for myself/continue to grow my long necklace collection...I just can't get enough. I picked ivory so that way I could wear it with pretty much anything. If you want one for yourself check out The Lovely Lemonade on etsy. This necklace came in a stitched envelope and with a very sweet card. Sometimes it really is the little things that mean the most :)

Final Destination 5

So did anyone else know that this was the prequel?!?! Or I guess I should really ask does anyone else still watch these?!?! I've been hooked from the start. Yes they are cheesey, but I love it! Plus it doesn't hurt that FD:4 had someone I actually know IRL in it! (I definitely just raised the roof...ha ha...how old am I?)
The acting was not the greatest to say the least, but I still liked this movie. And more so I loved at the end how it tied everything together. Of course like I said above, I had no idea that this movie was a prequel so at the end when they are on the plane and you see the actor from the frist movie start to freak out and then the current actor look at his ticket and it says the year 2000...wow did it throw me for a loop. Just for a second, but still. I like to be surprised now and then.

Josh Brolin playing a young Tommy Lee Jones as Agent K was hilarious. He nailed it! Of course Will Smith was excellent as well, still playing Agent J. The movie as a whole was pretty good, but not as good as the first one (but isn't that always the case?!?!). The ending of this movie was my favorite part. It was definitely worth seeing just to see that part.

Day Dreaming
I stare at a calendar with pictures like this all day every day (or 4-5 days a week). Which tends to leave me day dreaming about being at a place like this. Unfortunately, I don't have any plans to be on a beach in the near future except for the "sand bar" area I'll be standing in to watch these two hunks play their hearts out this weekend...

Of course I'll get back to that next week with lots of pictures!! I'm excited!!
In the mean time there are always 2 things I think about...
Q1. What would I do if I won a large sum of money/were rich?
Q2. If I was stranded on a remote island, what are 5 things I would want with me?
A1. If I had a ton of money, first things first I "retire"!! Then go get me an awesome beach house and set up camp. I seriously think I could spend every day by the water. And it will have to be like the picture on top and not the brown yuckiness that's an hour away from me. Then of course I'd do all the things I've ever wanted to do, but those two are the first things!
A2. I asked my friend this and she spit the answers out really fast and I took a little more time...ha ha...obviously I think about this wayyy too much. Here goes 1. Water Filtration System 2. Book on what's safe to eat 3. Sunscreen 4. Toiletries (including but not limited to an endless supply of t.p.) and 5. Unlimited amount of matches. Of course none of this would I actually have on me...ha ha.
Anyways...complete randomness today, but sometimes it's nice to day dream a little. What would your answers to be the questions? What do you day dream about?

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
I watched 7, yes 7, movies from the time span of last Thursday through Sunday! I do have a life I promise. Each one will get their own feature on this here blog of mine, but I won't bombard you all at once with back to back posts of movies...you're welcome. In case you're wondering what's to come...here are all the movies I watched: Final Destination 5, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Men In Black III, The Eagle, Mr. Popper's Penguins, Snow White and the Huntsman and finally Enemy of State.
I wasn't planning on ever seeing this movie as it's about a bunch of old people and I hadn't seen very many previews for it, but I'm so glad that my Aunt wanted to see this for her birthday because I would have missed out on a good movie otherwise.
The movie is about a group of retired people from England who all need an escape from their current lifestyles for various reasons. They all travel to what they expect to be an upscale hotel in India for retired English men and women, but find out what they are really in for after arriving. They have to learn how to adapt to new lifestyles and more or less go with the flow. The movie is very character driven and you really come to like some and hate others. This movie has the best quote in it...

Wedding Cake Card
For the same wedding I made the invitation ornament for, I also made a wedding cake card using the Wild Card Cartridge for my Cricut. The paper is off white to match their invitation and I wanted to jazz it up a bit, but still leave it simple so I added white pearls for decoration. These I just simply measured, cut and glued! Easy as pie...ha ha.

Wedding Invitation Ornament
1. Cut each line of the invitation separately
2. Wrap strips around smooth pen or pencil
3 and 4 glide strips into ornament and put top back on
After all the strips were in the ornament, I went to Michaels to look for a charm and ribbon to complete the ornament. Here's what I found...
A cross and love charm plus some gold-ish ribbon that matched the invitation. I was really happy with the way this turned out and can't wait to make another one!
